WTA BOGOTA (9th April)

WTA BOGOTA

Rakhimova to beat Maria @ 11-10

Rakhimova has the better win loss record on clay over their last 50 matches and she has come through here in impressive fashion in three tough sets against all her opponents but she has impressed me with how she has pulled through. Maria has had the easier run to the SF stage but equally the higher player she has beaten was ranked 80. Coin toss of a match so 11-10 is the value here.

WTA CHARLESTON

Anisimova to beat Jabeur @ Evens

Both players have a fairly similar record on clay although this clay plays slightly different to the clay in other parts of the world but the last 50 matches Anisimova has a 32-18 win loss record and Jabeur has a 31-19 win loss record. Jabeur has not lost a set this week but two of her three opponents have been ranked outside of the top 50 ranked players in the world so she has done what was expected. Anisimova has been impressive in defeating Sabalenka ranked 5 in the world and the way she dismantled Vanderweghe in the last round was very impressive.

US Open 2021 (1st September)

US OPEN 2021 - WEDNESDAY

KALININA TO BEAT KERBER @ 10-3

Kerber sneaked past the youngster in her first match here and looked very uneasy, Kalinina looked good after a shaky first set and only lost 2 more games in taking the final 2 sets and she has the power to cause Kerber problems here.

RAKHIMOVA TO BEAT ALEXANDROVA @ 5-1

Rakhimova looked in good form in defeating Mladenovic in three sets here and while she will need to be at her best to defeat her more favoured opponent she does certainly posses the talent to cause her some problems and is too large a price.

STEPHENS TO BEAT GAUFF @ 23-10

Stephens done us a good turn by beating Keys in her first match here and she normally does save her best for the Grand Slams, Gauff while extremely talented is still prone to the odd unpredictable match and Stephens great value to use her experience here to cause an upset.

WTA PALERMO (20th July)

WTA PALERMO

GERLACH TO BEAT COLLINS @ 8-1

Collins retired in her semi final match at the weekend against Kailinia with a very heavily strapped arm that looked to be slightly impeding her service arm, she has be taken on here with fitness concerns.

RAKHIMOVA TO BEAT DANILOVIC @ 11-10

Both players are decent on clay, but Rakhimova looked in decent form losing last week to eventual finalist Burel and she should prove too strong for Danilovic here.
