Sabalenka had a stellar year last year and has risen to 13 in the world rankings, she was overpowering players last year and if she starts this season in the same form then she will be very difficult to beat. Maria Sharapova has appeared to struggle with fitness over the last couple o seasons but I am happy to side with her here at the start of the season as I suspect that is the time to catch her at her peak
Aryna Sabalenka @ 9-2
Maria Sharapova 9-1
WTA AUCKLAND OUTRIGHT -
Azarenka can still produce performances of the highest calibre and similar to Sharapova, I think she is value here as last year lack of tournaments due to off courts issues caused her to look rusty but at the start of the season, everyone else will be in the same boat. After a dreadful couple of seasons Bouchard looked to be coming back into form at the back end of last season and if she can carry that form on then her price is huge
Victoria Azarenka 9-1 Eugenie
Bouchard 33-1
WTA BRISBANE OUTRIGHT -
Both established players and we know what they will bring to the table, Svitolina a brilliant all-round game and Pliskova a powerful serve with powerful groundstrokes.
Elina Svitolina 5-1
Karolina Pliskova 7-1
