WTA Miami Open 2023

WTA MIAMI

Kalinskaya (1.41) V Kasaintseva (3.40)

Kalinskaya has a powerful game but can be prone to a lot of errors, her opponent while more at home on clay is still decent on hard courts and Kalinskaya is too short a price here considering her 7-8 record on hard courts this season and her opponent will be fullof confidence having won her last tournament albeit on clay LAY KALINSKAYA.

Fruhvirtova (2.30) V Wang (1.75)

Brenda is the younger sister of Linda and equally if not has greater potential, 8-2 hard court record this season including winning her last tournament only dropping three sets on the ITF circuit. She is at home on hard courts although her favourite surface is clay. Wang is having a poor season and looks low on confidence with her 2-6 record on hard courts backing this up and may have her work cut out against an in form, confident hugely talented youngster with nothing to lose in this match up. LAY WANG.

Eala(4.60) V Begu (1.26)

Eala is the junior US Open winner and a player of huge potential although at a lower level than the main tour currently, 55-27 win loss record on hard courts which is her favoured surface and although this is a jump up in class against Begu she should be able to give a good account of herself as she is playing with confidence. Begu has not been in great from recently after reaching the SF at Adelaide she has lost in the first round in her last 3 tournaments all in straight sets. LAY BEGU.

Putintseva (1.55) V Marino (2.76)

LAY PUTINTSEVA 1.40

Sasnovich (1.59) V Galfi (2.64)

LAY SASOVICH 1.40

Montgomerry (3.60) V Bogdan (1.35)

LAY BODGAN

Blinkova (1.66) V Niemier (2.34)

BACK BLINKOVA ABOVE 2.0
