WTA INDIAN WELLS 2023 (9th March)

WTA INDIAN WELLS

Masarova 1.61 V Stearns 2.60

Both players have been in good form with Masarova 16-5 win loss record this season including 11-3 on hard courts although clay is her preffered surface. Sterns has an 18-3 record and 7-1 on hard courts winning Rome and Orlando on the ITF circuit before reaching the QF at Austin, this could be a close contest Masarova prob has the edge but is far too short against a player who is playing at the top of her game and full of confidence LAY MASAROVA.

Siniakova 1.40 V Niemeier 3.35

Sinakova has a 7-5win loss record so far this season on hard courts and is indecent form reaching the SF at Merida, the same cannot be said of her opponent who has a 2-8 record so far this season and looked woefully out of form and lacking in confidence and has yet to win a match on hard courts this season and looks far more at home on clay. BACK SINIAKOVA 1.70.

Cirstea 1.90 V Birrell 2.08

Cirstea has a 4-6 win loss record on hard courts so far this season and has been as wildly erratic as usual not getting past the second round of any tournament so far this season. Birrell has a 17-6 win loss record this season including winning Oralando on the ITF circuit as well as a QF at Merida and has won both her matches here so far LAY CIRSTEA.

Bonaventure 1.95 V Gracheva 2.0

Bonaventure leads the head to head 2-0 winning both on hard courts in straight sets, she has a 12-8 win loss record on hard courts this season reaching the SF at Auckland and the QF at Monterrey, Gracheva has been playing well of late but does have fitness concerns that have held her back throughout her career and has played a lot of tennis recently losing in the final at Austin before coming through a tough tight three set match here against Friedsam and I feel it may catch up with her LAY GRACHEVA 1.80 or below.
