PRO TENNIS TRADING: WTA SAN JOSE 2019 (FREE TIPS)

SAN JOSE

ZHANG (1.99) V COLLINS (1.91)
Back Collins if she hits 2.40+ in play.

WATSON (2.42) V ZHENG (1.66)
Zheng leads the head to head 1-0. Back Zheng if she hits 2.0+

WASHINGTON

BOUCHARD (2.44) V DAVIS (1.68)

Bouchard leads the head to head 2-1, Bouchard struggling again this season but in the match up she has overpowered Davis and I see no reason why she won’t do this again, her weight of shot proves too much for Davis on hard courts as shown by their head to head record as Davis won on clay and in the other two there were straight-set victories for Bouchard and I expect the same again. Back Bouchard

SINIAKOVA (1.74) V PEGULA (2.32)

Siniakova has struggled lately and looks low on confidence and her record on hard courts this season of 4-7 shows this, Pegula is very happy playing in the US and her 8-4 record so far shows she is improving she should keep this very close and I am looking to lay Siniakova here

MLADENOVIC (1.69) V ROGERS (2.36)

Head to head is tied at 1-1, Lay Mladenovic as she struggles on hard courts and although Rogers is not in great form she has the weight of shot to use Mladenovic huge problems here. Back Rogers PUIG (1.49) V KIICK (2.98) Puig is very attacking but hugely unpredictable as she hits the ball very flat and very hard, Kiick is a solid opponent and I expect her to trade a lot shorter than her current price. Lay Puig at the current price.

KARLSRUHE KORPATSCH (2.04) V FRIEDSAM (1.81)

Both excellent players on clay court but Korpatsch won the ITF title at Prague in her last outing and her confidence should be sky-high, I expect her to win at least a set so happy to lay Friedsam

LOTTNER (2.04) V RUSE (1.85)

Lottner is ranked 186 and Ruse ranked 179, both have very similar records on clay throughout their careers but Lottner has had the better results so far this season with a 16-7 record compared to Ruse’s 8-5. This match has 3 sets written all over it but I just fancy Lottner to come through

Wimbledon 2018: MLADENOVIC TO BEAT WILLIAMS @ 10-3

MLADENOVIC TO BEAT WILLIAMS @ 10-3
Mladenovic has a decent record on grass 34 wins to 21 losses, she has a good serve which if working can be a real asset and is comfortable around the net due to her expertise at doubles, Williams records speaks for itself but she did look rusty against Rus and will need to up her level against a good opponent.

WICKMAYER TO BEAT VEKIC @ 9-4
Wickmayer leads the head to head 2-0, both accomplished grass court players but I have to favour the head to head record of Wickmayer here at generous odds

WTA ISTANBUL

WTA ISTANBUL

KRUNIC TO BEAT MAKAROVA @ 11-8

Krunic leads the head to head 1-0 and is the better player on clay as Makarova can really struggle on the surface.

BUYUKAKCAY TO BEAT SAKKARI @ 5-2

Buyukakcay holds more often and breaks her opponent more regularly than Sakkari and has a win lost record in her home country of 7-3 out her last last 10 matches here and won this tournament in 2016

WTA STUTTGART

STRYCOVA TO BEAT SIEGMUND @ EVENS

Neither player in very good form but Siegmund retired from her last match and couple with the fact that Strycova is the better player overall maker her my selection.

BERTENS TO BEAT PLISKOVA @ 11-10

Bertens is a natural on clay as her win loss record shows winning Charleston dropping just one set on the way and her record over the last 12 months is 25-5 compared to Pliskova 10-6. Both hold around the 75% mark on clay but Bertens is far more dangerous on return of serve breaking her opponent 10% more often than Pliskova and she is my nap of this round.

KONTAVEIT TO BEAT MLADENOVIC @ 11-10

Kontaveit breaks more often holds more often and has the better record on clay making her a strong bet at generous odds.

PAVLUYCHENKOVA TO BEAT KEYS @ 2-1

Both have similar records on clay as neither player would have it as their favoured surface, Pavlyuchenkova is more dangerous on return of serve breaking 5% more often and this swings it in her favour in what should be a tight match.
