WTA ST PETERSBURG: PERA TO BEAT BOULTER @ 2.10

WTA ST PETERSBURG

PERA TO BEAT BOULTER @ 2.10

Pera has a career win-loss record of 27-17 compared to Boulters 6-9, neither player has been particularly good so far the season but I just fancy Pera’s extra power on her groundstrokes to be the deciding factor here.

DIATCHENKO TO BEAT PETKOVIC @ 2.60

Petkovic retired in her last match at the Australian Open and has to be opposed as her physical condition is always a concern, Diatchenko is a very capable player on indoor hard courts as shown by here win-loss record 72-35 and her aggressive return game will put Petkovic’s vulnerable serve under pressure

KONJUH TO BEAT KALINSKAYA @ 3.10

Konjuh back on tour after her elbow surgery and a former top 20 player in the world she has to be the choice here against a player who is happier on clay as shown by her career record of 12-18 on indoor hard courts. There is risk attached as Konjuh is likely to be rusty but 3.10 is factored into this and I am happy to take a chance on her.
