WTA INDIAN WELLS 1ST ROUND BETS
MAIA TO BEAT PUIG @ 5-4
Puig’s all out attack gameplay can match most players in the world but it rarely comes off, when it does she will win as shown at the Olympics but that way of playing does not happen too often, Maia is consistent and a decent hard court performer with a 58-33 record and she will force Puig into hitting a lot of winners and if she is not on a going day then the unforced errors will lead her to a defeat

PUIG 66.1% 34.6%
ROYG TO BEAT BARTHEL @ EVENS
Barthel is comfortable on indoor hard courts, Royg has been playing well recently reaching the QF at Acapulco last week falling n three sets to Gavrilova, She holds easier, breaks easier and I cannot really see how Barthel can match her. Royg 16-11 Barthel 3-12 are their respective win-loss record on hard courts over the last 12 months and that tells it’s own story
