SAFAROVA TO BEAT GOERGES @ 6-4
Head to head is tied 1-1, both players hit the ball hard and have good serves, Goerges has been in excellent form of late but I just have a hunch that Safarova will pull something out of the hat here and raise her game to the level required, Her forehand is as good as any you will see in the women’s game and if that get firing then she will cause the German a lot of problems as generous odds.
SAFAROVA V GOERGES OVER 22.5 GAMES @ EVENS
This total game spread has been covered in three of their four meetings easily, we have to go back to 2009 for the only time it has not been exceeded and with two strong servers I see no reason why this won’t be covered again and is a strong selection from me.
BONDARENKO TO BEAT SUAREZZ NAVARRO @ 6-5
Bondarenko leads the head to head 2-1 and has won her matches here easily where as Navarro has been busy losing at the Fed Cup on a completely different surface.
CIBULKOVA TO BEAT GARCIA @ 11-10
Garcia has not looked in great form this season so far, she done ok in the Australian Open reaching the last 16 but lost first round at Brisbane as well as at St Petersburg and looked short of confidence. Cibulkova reached the QF at Brisbane and would of been hopeful of a decent run at the OZ Open but she lost first round and now needs some good results to make up for it, she was impressive her in her first round match beating Pavlyuchenkova in straight sets and I see a similar outcome tomorrow with Cibulkova putting enormous pressure on Garcia’s serve with her aggressive returns and if Garcia’s serve is not firing then she will struggle.
