WTA ACAPULCO | GIBERT TO BEAT MARTINCOVA @ 11-10

GIBERT
WTA ACAPULCO

GIBERT TO BEAT MARTINCOVA @ 11-10

Gibert has been in good form on the ITF circuit winning the tournament in Glasgow recently and she should be high on confidence, Martincova struggles on hard courts as her record of 57-50 shows compared to Gibert 48-22 nd if she can make the jump up onto the full circuit and play with the same confidence then she will be difficult to beat here at value odds.

SCHOOFS TO BEAT LOEB @ 21-10

Coin toss of a match this one as both are ranked very similar but I am going with the outsider, Loeb can struggle for results outside of the US as she is a real home player

HESSE TO BET JAKUPOVIC @ 11-5

Head to head is tied 1-1 with Hesse winning their most recent meeting, Hesse 68-43 on hard courts compared to her opponent who is 110-90 but more worrying is her opponent has the same sort of win ration on all surfaces which shows she excels on none. Neither have been playing particularly good tennis but Jakupovic has not played since the start of Feb when she lost at Taipei and looked amazingly inconsistent and if she performs to that level then Hesse will be too consistent for her.

CAKO TO BEAT TEICHMANN @ 29-10

Teichmann is awful on hard courts and avoids them normally at all costs, her record on outdoors is 26-24 and while Ceko is no great shakes she at least has a better record of 174-133 and at nearly 3-1 she looks fantastic value against a very limited player on these courts

IANCHUK TO BEAT RUS @ 9-5

Rus is happier on clay, left naked she has a excellent serve but when sets and matches get to the crunch she tends to be found wanting. Never fulfilled her promise and considering her power and serve then her record of 90-81 on hard courts is awful, her movement can be exposed and I expect to see Ianchuk keeping the tall Dutch player constantly on the move and this will make her very vulnerable here.
