Larsson V Strycova Over 21.5 Games @ 11-10
Strycova leads the head to head 4-3 and on outdoor hard courts, it is tied at 1-1. Average games over the two matches on outdoor hard courts are 27.5 with one three-set match that Strycova won last year on a third set tie-break and Larsson won the year before over two tight sets. Too hard to pick a winner here but neither player has the game totally dominate so I expect a close three-set match and cover the overs.
CEPEDE ROYG TO BEAT VICKERY @ 13-8
I see no reason to oppose Royg who won last night in straight sets. Vickery has been playing well but this will be her hardest match so far and I don’t believe she will cope with the consistency of Royg.
KENIN TO BEAT LEPCHENKO @ 7-4
Kenin has an impressive record on outdoor hard courts 59-32 and was impressive in beating Jana Fett in her last match. Lepchenko beat a woeful Mona Barthel in her match but is terribly inconsistent and Kenin has the be the value here.
KUZMOVA + 4.5 GAMES TO BEAT GOERGES @ 6-5
Kuzmova’s record on outdoor hard courts 100 wins to just 27 losses albeit on the lesser ITF circuit but compared to Goerges 143-128 record it stands up quite well. Goerges beat Puig in her last match in three sets but it was close up until the latter part of the third set and Puig had her chances but was unable to take them and against an inform opponent here the handicap is too large.
