WTA Aukland
Watson to beat Kanepi 6-5
Konta to beat Keys 11-10

Nara to beat Larsson 11-10 Nara leads the head to head 1-0 and has the better record on outdoor hard courts, Larsson tends to perform well at the end of the season on indoor courts as well as during the clay part of the season.

Puig to beat Goerges 2-1
Puig V Goerges Over 22.5 Games 11-10
Puig V Goerges To Feature A Tie Break In Match 5-2

Puig leads the head to head 4-0 although only one of those has been on hardcourts. Both hit the ball fearsomely hard but both all also all out attack and are capable of being anyone but also losing to anyone as their game is basically all out. Looking at their previous meetings there has been 9 sets played and a tiebreak in 3 of those and 5 others finished either 7-5 or 6-4 so the matches do tend to be tight as they both have a decent serve and it shows.

Hercog to beat Van Uytvanck 6-4

Hercog leads the head to head 2-0 both are more at home on clay but I am siding with the Slovenian here due to the head to head record

Cepede Royg to beat Arrubarrena 11-10

Royg leads the head to head 1-0 and is far more comfortable on hard court, the fact she won their only meeting on Arrubarrena's favourite clay surface spells bad news, Royg has more power, better serve and more aggressive return game and I expect her to come through in straight sets.

Bogdan to beat Giorgi 6-4

Bogdan is more consistent than Giorgi who can be unplayable sometimes but is far too inconsistent to be considered at odds on against an improving opponent who I expect to climb the rankings this season as she is a solid if an unspectacular player with no real glaring weaknesses.
