ZVONAREVA TO BEAT KRUNIC @ 7-4
Zvonareva retiring to the tour after her injuries and motherhood has looked in tremendous form, she may not reach the heights of world number 2 again but she is a stunning price here as quite simply she is a better player than Krunic especially on hard courts.
BONDARNKO TO BEAT NARA @ 11-10
Nara 15-17 win-loss record on hard courts, Bondarenko 17-14. Bondarenko has the more powerful game and I think she can hit through Nara here.
SABALENKA TO BEAT KOZLOVA @ 7-4
Both these players have been in good form, but I am willing to take a chance on the youngster high on confidence playing no fear tennis and Kozlova has played a lot of tennis lately and might just be a little heavy-legged.
VOEGELE TO BEAT BABOS @ 7-2
Head to head is tied at 1-1. One match on indoor hard courts which Babos won and one on outdoor hard courts which Voegel won both had the same scoreline 6-4, 7-5 so featured 22 games in each match. Both have been in good form but Voegel has the game to upset Babos whose is very reliant on her serve, Voegele is excellent at the net and her style of play would unsettle Babos and not let her get into a rhythm. Record on hard courts this season are Babos 8-11 and Voegele 9-5
BARTY TO BEAT PLISKOVA @ 11-8
SAKKARI TO BEAT CORNET @ 11-10
