KORPATSCH TO BEAT ERRANI @ 8-5
Korpatsch has been in consistent form reaching the QF at her last two clay tournaments. Errani has struggled all season even on her favoured clay surface. Win loss record on clay are both impressive through their careers but over the last 12 months, Korpatsc is 20-10 compared to Errani's 15-10 which for her is very poor. She relies on taking a lot off her first serve and getting a high percentage in but it just puts her on the defensive straight away and against an accomplished player in Korpatsch she will struggle.

KULICHKOVA TO BEAT ALEXANDROVA @ 11-10
Kulichkova leads the head to head 2-0 both on clay. Win loss records on clay over 12 months are Alexandranova 10-8 career 69-40 compared to Kulichkova 15-7 career 32-20. I am taking the head to head into strong consideration here as I think Kulichkova matches up well against her fellow Russian and take her to come through

OZAKI TO BEAT ZHU @ 11-10
Ozaki leads the head to head 2-0 once on hard court and once on grass. Ozaki is the overall better player but Zhu has been in excellent form on the ITF circuit especially on hard courts as she has reached the final in her last three tournaments winning one of those. I think being back in Asia will help as she has good memories here as last time she was here she reached the final at Hong Kong and the SF at Nanchang before losing first round at Shenzen. I think Osaki will be able to pressure Zhu's serve enough to come through and she is decent value to do so.
