Pliskova to beat Gavrilova - 6.5 Games @ 9-4 PaddyPower, 888 Sport

Pliskova to beat Gavrilova - 5.5 Games @ 13-10 BWin, Marathon

Pliskova leads the head to head 2-0, winning both matches n straight sets and fairly easily as well winning by 7 games at Miami on hard court then by 8 games at Eastbourne. Pliskova has yet to lose a match so far this season as she won Brisbane and has so far come through here although in her last match she was fortunate as Ostapenko was 5-2 up in the third and did somewhat fall apart. Pliskova so far this season has only lost two sets! So far Gavrilova has come through all three matches here in three sets and they have been tight, against Bacsinzky she was a break down at the start of the third and it was more due to the fact Bacsinszky lost all confidence in her forehand.

So far this season Pliskova has played 18 sets and of her 8 winning matches 6 of them have been in straight sets and four of them have featured a 6-0 set including one in every set here. Looking at the margin of her wins has covered this handicap 5 times out of 8 with the other three times being margins of 5 and twice 6 games.

Pliskova 76.5%     35.1%
Gavrilova 64%       38.4%

Makarova V Konta Over 20.5 Games @ EVENS  Betway

Makarova to beat Konta + 4.5 Games @ EVENS Betfred, BoyleSports

Konta leads the head to head 3-0, one match going three sets which was at this stage last year when Konta went on to win 8-6 in the third. Winning games margins for Konta have been 3, 2 and 6. Konta has yet to lose a set this season so far winning Sydney and coming through here in straight sets. The impressive feat is that 6 of her 8 opponents this season has been ranked in the top 50 so not easy matches and she has dealt with them all so impressively.  Makarova plays very well at this venue and she will not make it easy for Konta, in their previous meetings the average games played is 25 games per match and only once has this total games spread not been covered.

Makarova 72.2%    37%
Konta 77.9%           38.2%
