Leisa Tsurenko to beat Belinda Bencic @ 7-4(SKYBET)
Tsurenko leads the head to head 1-0 although that match was 4 years ago and on clay so the relevance is probably minimal. In terms of win/loss records on hard courts then it is very similar with Benic 16-12 compared to Tsurenko’s 16-13. Bench has struggled this season with injuries and has only played one match since Wimbledon and that was Cincinnati last week where she struggled in a straight sets defeat to Timea Babos. Tsurenko won her first two matches in qualifying then retired against Chirico now whether that was a genuine retirement or just because she was a high seed and knew she would still get in the main draw so had no need to complete then i am not sure but am willing to give her the benefit of the doubt at this price.

Annett Kontaveit to Elena Vesnina @ 2-1 (SKYBET)
Kontaveit as I have mentioned before has an explosive game that can catch players by shock as she hits the ball tremendously hard but is equally as unreliable and is capable of beating nearly anyone on her day but can lose to anyone also. Records on hard courts over last 12 months are Kontaveit 22-12 Vesnina 16-12, Again Kontaveit is through here as a lucky loser after somehow losing to Beck. Vesnina played brilliant in the grass court swing of the season reaching QF at Eastbourne and SF at Wimbledon but I am taking her opponent to have the power to hit her off the court today.

Anastasja Sevastova to beat Ekaterina Makarova @ 9-4 (SKYBET)
The records of these two players over the last 12 months on hard courts is again very similar with Makarova 16-10 compared to Sevastova’s 13-10. Makarova considering her talent has had a poor season only reaching 3 QF’s all season where by comparison Sevastova has reached 3 finals and numerous QF’s as she dropped down onto the ITF circuit and was winning numerous matches and this raised her confidence which she has brought onto the main tour.
