Kateryna Bondarenko to beat Kristina Mladenovic @ 6-4 Ladbrokes, Boyle 1 Pt Win
Bondarenko has been excellent since getting over her injury problems and becoming a mother, her win/loss record on hard courts over the last 12 months is 36-15 compared to Mladenovic 16-17. Bondarenko has come through two matches here so far whereas Mladenovic is coming from the Olympics. Both have excellent serves but Bondarenko is a far better returner than her French opponent who excels at the net due to her excellent doubles record but won't be at home on these courts.

Barbora Strycova to beat Eugenie Bouchard @ 11-8 Ladbrokes, Coral, Boyle 1 Pt Win
This is the match I am a little uncertain about, both players are very similar looking at their records. Strycova over 12 months on hard courts is 21-15 compared to Bouchard 24-14. Bouchard on top form is the better player but I still to be convinced. Bouchard leads the head to head 3-2 with Strycova winning the last two meetings albeit on clay, Tight match but I am favouring the Czech player to come through in three.

BOUCHARD 67.3% 37.3%
The last match I was very interested in was Lucie Safarova to beat Andrea Petkovic at Evens but unfortunately with Safarova’s illness problems since the latter part of last season and her returning from the Olympics i am not willing to risk it.
