WTA BEIJING

VIKHLYANTSEVA
WTA BEIJING

SASNOVICH TO BEAT LEPCHENKO @ 6-4

VIKHLYANTSEVA TO BEAT KASATKINA @ 12-5

Vik leads the head to head 1-0 winning this season in straight sets on indoor hard courts at St Petersburg. Neither player has been in great recent form but Vik has the power to be able to bully Kasatkina here who is still more at home on clay where her movement is key and does not expose her lack of power on some of her shots.

VEKIC TO BEAT VANDERWEGHE @ 2-1

Vanderweghe leads the head to head 1-0, Vekic is back to something like her best and I expect Vanderweghe to suffer a similar fate to Stephens after her US Open run and will look to oppose her when I can.

MERTENS TO BEAT CIBULKOVA @ 17-10

Cibulkova leads the head to head 1-0 winning in straight sets this season. Mertens has had a superb season rising up to being in the top 40 and Cibulkova has been very unpredictable this season and I am happy to oppose her with her vulnerability on serve always an issue.

STOSUR TO BEAT SINIAKOVA @ 11-8

These two have never met before, there is no doubt that Stosur is not the player she was but she will be fresh as she has not played much since the French Open and I am expecting a strong end to the season against some opponents who have had a tough season.

BOUCHARD TO BEAT RYBRIAKOVA @ 6-4 (NAP)

Bouchard leads the head to head 2-0 winning both in straight sets, her form has been pretty poor for a while now but at a value price against someone who she has beaten comfortably both times and who is far more at home on grass then Bouchard has to be the play here.
