BONDARENKO
WTA INDIAN WELLS

BONDARENKO TO BEAT WANG @ EVENS  CORALS

Wang has been in slightly better form recently  reaching the QF at Dubai and Kuala Lumpar, but I feel Bondarenko is the overall better player with her having better service stats and where I think the game will be decided will be with Bondarenko’s strong return game which should cause Wang all sorts of problems on her service game.

                                                SERVICE HOLD               SERVICE BREAK
BONDARENKO                      66.2%                                43.1%
WANG                                     64.7%                                39.6%

FLIPKENS TO BEAT BELLIS @ 5-2 BET 365, WHILL, BETFRED, CORALS

Bellis is a fantastic prospect and played wonderfully well in Dubai where she defeated Radwanska before losing to Wozniacki in the QF, Flipkens reached the QF in Acapulco and I feel today Flipkens experience is the key as is the variation in her game, she will use her slice backhand to good effect and be in at the end on every available opportunity and I can see belles getting frustrated and not able to get into a rhythm.

                                               SERVICE HOLD        SERVICE BREAK
FLIPKENS                              66.3%                        33.5%
BELLIS                                   70%                           44.7%

MATTEK SANDS TO BEAT PLISKOVA @ 10-11 LADBROKES, CORALS, BETFRED, SKYBET

Mattek Sands looks in better recent form, She lost in Acapulco in the last 32 beaten by Heather Watson, Pliskova has looked poor in her defeats to Brengle and Davis at Doha and Dubai. Mattek Sands has by far the better return game and also a decent serve and I cannot really see how Pliskova will make inroads on Mattek Sands service games. Mattek Sands leads the head to head 1-0 and I expect it to be 2-0 after this match.

                                            SERVICE HOLD                 SERVICE BREAK
MATTEK SANDS                65.1%                                  39.5%
PLISKOVA                           71.8%                                 29.6%

WICKMAYER TO BEAT SIEGMUND @ 10-11 BETWAY

Wickmayer reached the QF at Budapest before losing first round to Hantuchova in Acapulco, Siegmund won her first match of the year at Dubai where she beat Espinosa in a third set tie break, but looks totally shot on confidence and I expect Wickmayer to come through being the better hard court player.

                                          SERVICE HOLD           SERVICE BREAK
WICKMAYER                    71.3%                            33.8%
SIEGMUND                       57.9%                            34.3%

GIBBS TO BEAT WATSON @ 7-4 BETWAY

GIBBS V WATSON TO FEATURE OVER 21.5 GAMES @ EVENS  BET 365, WHILL, PADDYPOWER

Head to head is tied at 1-1, neither player has been in great form, Watson’s stats look better for recent form but they take into account her 4 wins in the Fed Cup of which her highest ranked opponent was Vekic ranked 84. Could be a long match this one as both are excellent defenders.

                                          SERVICE HOLD        SERVICE BREAK
GIBBS                               66.2%                        41.1%
WATSON                           66.7%                        39%
